About the Event

‘There is no limit to what people can achieve when technology reflects the diversity of all who use it.’

Engage in this PLD opportunity if you want to know more about how to use digital fluency as an aide to learning.

This session will cover tools funded by the MoE through the Microsoft Schools agreement including:

Reading Progress tool: Reading Progress automates the Running Record process and is built into Microsoft Teams. This amazing tool helps you spend more time with students and less time analyzing data.

Immersive Reader: Immersive Reader is a free tool that implements proven techniques to improve reading and writing for people, regardless of their age or ability. Immersive Reader can help build confidence for ākonga learning to read at higher levels, and offer text decoding solutions for students with learning differences such as dyslexia.

For all you Minecraft:EE lovers out there….Great news….Immersive Reader is also built into Minecraft Education Edition. See more information here
