- Book me in and invoice us.

- Please reserve my spot, I will look into the Teacher aide MoE PLD pilot fund

Over the day we will look at the value of understanding what tools can be used for what purpose, from the lens of a Teacher Aides day to day role with ākonga.

This hui is not about assistive technologies for students, although we will look at what can be used on computers to support learning.

Our values over the day (based from Tātaiako)

Ako - Today we will have an opportunity for reciprocal learning. Please give people the opportunity to share their thoughts and mahi.

Whanaungatanga - Make yourself known and build relationships with people in the room. Please make everyone feel welcome.

Wānanga - We are all here to share, learn, kōrero. Beliefs may be different but we respect that we all have something to contribute.

Manaakitanga - We expect everyone to respect each others language, culture and identity. We all have equal opportunities here.

Tangata Whenuatanga - Affirm that Māori learners have a place in Digital Technologies.

Catering will be covered and delicious (we think you deserve to be treated)

More time for a play, with a chance to ask questions, and share what we have learned with each other.

Sessions will be capped to ensure every voice is heard.

There is no minimum requirement of skill using a computer. We would require though that participants come along with a device and a school email address they can use. It may be helpful to come along with the type of device used with students to support learning.
